About Kaius

Kaius Design is the online portfolio of Denise Wilton. I am a London based graphic designer, with over 10 years experience designing and project managing in the publishing, design and new media industry.

I am currently working as Creative Director and Community Manager at UK startup Moo. Moo is a site focussing on ways to turn personalised virtual content into physical products. Check them out, it's a lot of fun.

Before joining Moo I was freelance for several years. I worked either alone or collaboratively with some great developers and flash animators.

I still occasionally take on freelance projects - either design or illustration, time permitting. If there's something you think I could help you with, please feel free to get in touch.

Before taking the leap into the world of freelance, I worked in these roles:

Emap Publishing, Creative director
Wheel, Senior designer
Synergy Communications, Senior designer
The Consumers' Association, Senior designer
Jupiter 7, Designer

Feel free to contact me for further details, using the email address on the left.

Publications

I have written articles for MacFormat, Computer Arts and Design Week. I've also been lucky enough to be invited to speak at the 2007 'Future of Web Design' conference in London, a Girl Geek Dinner in Brighton, d.Construct 2007 and one of the Oxford Geek nights.

Articles featuring b3ta.com and CityCreator have appeared in print publications: Computer Active, Contract Journal, Graphics International, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sun, The Mirror, USA Today, Yahoo Site of the Day, and a few more I've lost track of.

My pixel illustrations have been included in the book '1x1 Pixel illustration' and 'Websites 100% loaded'.
